Hello. I've been legally blind since birth, 56 years ago. My vision is not correctible. I have 20/200 and 20/400, and I have a lot of red vessels starting to really show up on the white areas. I forgot to mention that I had cataract surgeries back in 2016 (amazing!), but I was still legally blind, alas, LOL. I'm ok with that. I'm prepared. But what I want to know is, my husband has started to notice that there is like this "blue-ish" color, like a band, that is starting to appear around both of my irises. I have severe nystagmus, and also, severe exotropia in my right eye, so those red vessels and that weird darkening is really starting to become noticeable. What IS that darkening area? My ophthalmologist has told me over and over that I am experiencing retinal detachment--that is what those white flashes are that I see out of the corners of my eyes. I know the vitreous liquid.is separating. Is that what is causing that color? I'm going to have to start wearing some kind of sunglasses because I'm concerned about making people feel uncomfortable when they look at me, and I am trying to look back at them, which is physically impossible, because of the exotropia, haha. I'm trying to be a good sport. At 56, I really stopped caring so much what people thought of me. I still dress nice, to the nines, makeup, hair, etc, when I go out, but now my eyes are getting to be freaky just to look at. It makes me, and others, uncomfortable.

My mother is suffering from Dementia. Alas, in my country there is no support group for those who look after people with Dementia. Doctor prescribed a pill to me, but it doesn't help. Sometimes I lose my patience and cry and shout, it is really hard. I don't want to see my mum suffering, she isn't aware of her disease, she doesn't even accept it. Sometimes refuses to take pills. Alongside with Alzheimer's, she has other health problems. I am just looking for ways of treatment, I mean how to behave, what to do with people with Alzheimer's.

Well i found the solution but it should be carried out earlier the cure to postl asik dry eyes is crying after the first week for 6-8 times everyday througj 3 month time span. The prescriped PF eyedrops 9nly serve to keep the lacrimal tears more on eye and cannot replace lacrimal tears. If cornea heals by scarring and no lacrimal tears are in contact with healing cornea the nerves wont regenerate they will be subject to wallerian degeneration and tou will be left with permanent dry eyes unfortunately. So start crying early folks if u cant use autologous serum tears.
